Why Emi
Emi was my daughter — she blessed us with sixteen months. Emi Baby had a genetic disease called KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder (KAND). It was nothing we passed down. Her neurologist said that a gene messed up and got the spelling wrong. A gene that carries an important protein to the brain just didn't function properly. Emi was one of the worser variants and at the time, she was one in seven ever documented. One in a billion. What a lottery win!
